I started U N Me Driver Training in 2009 after watching and helping my 25 year old cousin go through the process of driving her 120 hours and gaining her provisional licence. This set me on a path that I never thought of doing before. I am a mum of 4 boys, so I have been very busy for a while now, but as they grew older I wanted to re-enter the workforce. My boys are 20 year old twins, 18 year old on Green Ps, 16 year on Ls.
Gaining my driving instructors licence my passion to teach really took hold. I started with a manual Toyota Echo and then in 2011 I purchased a new Toyota Yaris (auto) and updated my manual car. I took a break in 2015 while my husband, boys and I travelled Australia for 8 months. On my return I started back up with a 2016 Toyota Corolla (auto) and a 2017 Toyota Corolla (manual).2022 I have a RAV4 (auto) and still the corolla (manual)
The thing I love the most about being a driving instructor is helping people achieve a big milestone in their lives and all of the different people you meet; some very confident and others needing a little more help and encouragement.
